Exped Mountain Pro 40 – Mountaineering Backpack

This pack boasts a streamlined design with only a main compartment and 2 zipped lid pockets to keep weight to a minimum. Of course, this doesn’t mean the Mountain Pro 40 doesn’t have a comfortable suspension system to take the strain off of your neck and back. The PE foam back panel and the ergonomic shoulder straps with EVA foam padding make even heavier equipment easy to carry. If you like to keep things even lighter, you can reduce the already relatively low weight of the pack by another 400 grams by removing the hip belt and back plate. For waterproof protection, even in heavier rains, the pack is PU coated and seam sealed.
